Heritage Day News
Thanks to everyone who made last year’s Heritage Day program ad sales a success. $1,300 was raised from last year’s sales. We are now beginning the sales for this year’s program booklet section titled “Christians Serving the Community.” Your business can be associated with this important event for the modest contribution of $25 per business card space (which is a tax-deductible business expense and goes toward charitable purposes). Also, purchase of a space for a personal message is available. We have only a limited number of ad spaces, so take advantage of this great opportunity. For an order form, contact an Ad Sales Committee Volunteer (Dee Harper or Belinda Kinkade) or the church office.
Silent Auction
Well folks, it is that time of year again and we are asking for your help with donations for the silent auction. Items can be new, gently used (furniture, jewelry, etc.) or an antique, but if not new please clean it up before donating it. If you think it will be of use to someone else, we would love to have it. We appreciate all donations. Call 575-7251 or cell 550-2971, leave a message. Please bring your item(s) to the Church office or if you cannot bring it we will be happy to pick it up, call: James & Cathy O’Connor.
Live Auction
The Heritage Day Steering Committee is currently gathering items for the live auction and would greatly appreciate any help that members of the FELC congregation can offer with this task. If you have an item that you would like to donate or know someone who can donate an item for the live auction, please contact either Jennifer Hartman or Melissa Hamilton before September 17th.
